Norwich Conservatives and our local MP, Chloe Smith, are backing the Norwich Evening News and Eastern Daily Presscampaign to keep Colman’s and Britvic’s factories open in Norwich.
This could affect around 350 jobs – and take the historic Colman’s Mustard brand out of Norwich.
Chloe has written to both companies on behalf of her Norwich constituents who work in the factories.
“The loss of any jobs is very troubling but to also risk losing the iconic Colman’s brand from Norwich would be a crying shame.
“At this stage, I am strongly urging the companies to do all they can to avert the loss of jobs and to make all support available to those workers affected by this terrible news,” commented Chloe Smith MP.
