Chloe Smith MP on her new ministerial role as Parliamentary Secretary (Minister for the Constitution): "I’ve changed my role in Westminster.
"I was a minister at the Northern Ireland Office, which was a real privilege to do. I believe it is important to serve my country as an MP, and I have now been asked to be a minister at the Cabinet Office – my main responsibility is for the Constitution.
"It is a role that I am very excited about, as there is a lot of important work to contribute towards, especially with Brexit negotiations taking place.
"However, I do want to emphasise that most of all, my work for my constituents will always take priority. Norwich will always come first for me."
