This afternoon we were delighted to welcome the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock and our own Chloe Smith to a ‘cake and coffee’ event, organised by the Norwich Conservatives business club.
Matt spoke at length about the NHS and the role that the Conservative government are playing in delivering an NHS fit for our future genrations and ensuring that we have a health service that we can be proud of, demonstrating how the increased government funding will be seen across the region, and is being seen at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital.
Matt also spoke about the importance of having hard working Conservative members of parliament, and about how important it was to continue to support our members and councillors considering the opposition we face.
A Q&A session followed, which included questions from across our community of supporters ranging from questions on blood screening, to brexit and almost everything else in between.
It was fantastic to have Matt and Chloe welcomed by our federation, and we look forward to our next event.
