The local Safer Neighbourhood Team has set a new target of reducing cycle thefts in and around Eaton. There has been a problem with bicycles going missing, especially in the Golden Triangle area which includes areas such as Leopold Road, Waldeck Road and Melrose Road in Eaton Ward. The police have reminded people that most bike theft is opportunistic and that investing in a good lock and ensuring you bring your bike in at night could prevent it being stolen. The Safer Neighbourhood Team are always out and about, including tackling anti-social behaviour in Eaton Park. If you wish to contact the team, you can call on 101 or email[email protected]
Eaton Conservative campaigner Antony Little commented “This type of opportunistic theft is really frustrating for local residents. The Police’s reminder and advice on prevention is timely and can help reduce this problem. If you have concerns in your area, why not get in touch with the Safer Neighbourhood Team or contact your local Conservative Action Team and we can see how we can look to help”
